Blocks/Periodizing



Hey, I’m looking for some input on this topic since I’m not super educated on it.

How would you set up your different blocks of training? I was thinking going a month or two (maybe more if necessary) focusing more purely on hypertrophy, then moving on to more strength based training. I know the two kind of go hand in hand but I’d still like to try this out.

And regarding a strength focused block, how much would you drop the volume and and what intensities would you work?

If this sounds completely wrong to you, please let me know how I could structure it instead. Running a PPL split by the way.
