Gym tips

So I’ll be going to college this fall and hope to use their gym and take advantage of it for the fall. I’m your typical skinny slim kid who likes watching Netflix and playing video games. So picture that. I’m 5’7 like 120 pounds so I hope I’m giving you a clearer picture. I’ve never gone to the gym so idk what the first thing to do like id be intimidated with everyone working out and buff and I’m just this kid who is lifting 10pounds. I have literally no idea where to start maybe some running. Also do I need protein shakes and stuff
