How to start Gym (newbie) : GYM


Hi, I’m 17 and recently started to hit the gym. I play basketball, am rather skinny. My coach has told me to hit the gym by starting out with three main exercises (bench press, deadlift, squats) and I was wondering how I can plan to progress from here. Like, when do I incorporate isolation exercises for specific muscle groups? How can I start lifting heavier? (dumb question @.@)
